I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Poretsky lab at the University of Illinois Chicago. My research is mostly in the area of wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE). My main projects at this time are:

1. Using wastewater samples spanning from 2021 to the present to study patterns in the transmission and evolution of SARS-CoV-2 throughout the state of Illinois.
2. Expanding the utility of sequence-based WBE approaches to simultaneously study multiple pathogens  beyond SARS-CoV-2.
